Consumer dispute resolution

We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (§ 36 VSBG, German Consumer Dispute Resolution Act).

Liability for content

As a service provider, we are responsible for our own content on these pages in accordance with general laws pursuant to § 7(1) DDG. According to §§ 8 to 10 DDG, however, we as a service provider are not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information or to investigate circumstances that indicate unlawful activity.

Obligations to remove or block the use of information under general laws remain unaffected. However, liability in this respect is only possible from the point in time at which a specific infringement becomes known. Upon becoming aware of such infringements, we will remove this content immediately.

Image rights

All screenshots of the web app that are used show the operator’s own software. User-generated photos on pitch pages are uploaded by the respective users, who grant rights in accordance with our Terms of Use § 8. The portrait photo of the operator on the B2B page was taken privately and is protected by copyright.

Embedded operator website images: On pitch pages, images are additionally embedded that were extracted exclusively from publicly accessible, structured metadata fields of the respective operator’s website (Open Graph tag og:image, Twitter Card tag twitter:image and the schema.org image property for the types Campground / LodgingBusiness / Hotel). By publishing these images publicly with OG/schema.org markup, the owner of the operator website itself releases them for indexing by third parties (use as preview images within the meaning of BGH (German Federal Court of Justice) I ZR 69/08 — “Vorschaubilder III”). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in an informative overview of pitches for campers). Should you, as the rights holder, nevertheless wish the image to be removed, please use the “Report” button next to the image in the app or write informally to martin@via.camp — removal takes place without undue delay, without requiring a detailed justification. For details see Privacy Policy § 10.5.
